As for Meag and I, I am back in school... and its such a blast. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else for the rest of my life!! Work, vacation, playing with friends and familiy... these are all distractions from the one love I have in life........ SCHOOL!

Seriously, it's not too bad. I've had harder years. Nikki assures me that this is how it is supposed to be. If I have an easy schedule, I have more time to tutor O.Chem.

Meag and I went walking the other day and walked by this guys house. In his front lawn he had mowed the BYU symbol "Y" with a circle around it. It looked just like the logo. Wahoo!!! I'm so excited for football season!! Go Cougs!!

Ry -Latest on Hurricane Dean

The Hurricane Dean story is the front page of Yahoo.com. They have now said that it is larger than TEXAS!! Holy Cow. They have all kinds of video clips on this thing.

I've been reading and watching things on Hurricane Dean. They said by the time it hits the Yucatan Penninsula (where we were), it will be considered a class 5 hurricane. To put that in perspective, they followed saying that other recent class 5 hurricanes were hurricane Emily and HURRICANE KATRINA! Isn't that crazy!!

They have brought in more flights that will leave Cancun before the storm hits, but even with that they said there will be a ton of people that don't get out in time and will have to wait it out. It sounds like this thing is going to be crazy. All the videos show the storm going straight over the Yucatan Pennisula. Anyways, I'll keep ya posted.

today was our last day in salt lake..... we think. we never know what is really going happen. we are going to the skyline vs bingham game tonight which is suppose to be one of the biggest opening games of the year in high school football. when we got off work the other day, we went to the moives and we saw rush hour 3. chris tucker is now my favorite actor of all time since he is the funniest man alive. we will be moving into our place in a week in all goes right, but on the 27th we have to leave for denver for a 3 day class so we might not be in there till the begginging of sept. our house has probably sold which is really good news, but it sold for really cheap and that is kind of a bummer cause we were planning on getting a certain amount of money, but i guess that is the way it goes. ryan and meg, i think we can only give you $700.00 but i think that is still pretty good and hopefully you guys are happy with that. so now we are going to go pack the car up with more stuff and continue hauling it down to cedar city. we don't actually take over mcdonalds till the 23th. i see some very busy days ahead and i am hoping we are lucky and ONLY have 70 hour weeks.

POPS: '"IS IT ME??"

The week poll's answer was.....POPS!!!
It was a trick question. If you read closely you will come to find that it is actually a person telling a story about Chad, so cleary this indicates and eliminates Chad from the poll. When Dad was telling this exaggerated story he said Kenney's chesnuts instead of just Kenney Chestnut like Chad said! What a turkish weeny huh? So all those that put POPS good job!

The Cancuneers

Here are just a few pictures to show you some of the things that we did! We were walking around doing some shopping and we were sweating to death, so we stopped in for an ice cream. As we were walking in... we just had to take a picture of this guy that was standing at the order counter. Click on this picture and examine. Read what it says on the door then see how "literally" this guy took the guidlines. We were laughing for hours!! This may very well haunt me in my sleep for the next 3 months.
Nikki also got to swim with the dolphins and pull the Superman with two dolphins pushing her across the pool. Look at some of the beach pictures. The water was just about as warm as our swimming pool in our back yard. AMAZING! We'll tell you guys more when we get home.

We hope school is going good and that everything is going well for everyone. We are excited to hear about the new Junior High'er, the Senior Year, the "new crib" as pops would put it of Kyle & Amy's, and to see if mom is still alive after yet another round of Dental Applications (I owe you HUGE Mom, thanks).

We're getting up at 4:00 a.m. to catch our flight into Dallas, TX and then we'll hang there for the day before heading home. We'll see ya soon.

Here are a few of the things we've been able to do. 1st off, WE SWAM WITH THE SHARKS!! There were five types of sharks in the tank, 10 sharks total. We even fed them It was crazy!! We also went and climbed up the Myan Temples and entered the Holy Room on top. We had a dinner above all the stores under tiki candlelight. On our last day in Mexico, we found a restaurant that was just right on the beach. We hung out there and then snorkeled some. We saw huge turtles, Sting Rays, Sea Cucumbers, and even an eel. We really packed it in!! Every night we came home exhausted.

We wanted to drop a line and tell you WE ARE ALIVE!... however, there have been some close encounters. ha ha just kidding. We are at this hamburger place trying to post pictures but their internet isn't fast enough. We'll try and post pictures soon for all you guys to see when we get back to our place. It has been fun reading Kyle's Daily Journal in the meantime.

Our resort is incredible! It is the largest resort in Latin America... or so the mexicans tell us. It also has the second largest pool in ALL America. Crazy huh! We've been having an awesome time!!

hey guys, look like the 4 mexicans are having fun. we are excited to hear how your trip is. i saw mom, grandma, kends and cj yesterday which was really good cause i have not seen them for a long long time. amy and i took an hour and a half break and went to eat at the pastry pub and saw our new townhome (that still has time to be finished) we got home from our 15 hour work day at 10:30. we spent the whole time in mcdonalds interviewing and learning the systems there. we take over august 20th at 5:00am. we are really nervous, now that it is becoming realization, but we are excited. for those who live or will be visiting cedar city, no more eating wendy's, arby's, burger king, or taco bell. sorry that is the way it goes and whenever a conversation comes up about those places, just remember they are the worst fast food's in the country so tell everyone they are terrible.... we are back in salt lake for one more week and we will probably be coming down on the 18th which is a saturday. amy is now 9 weeks along and we told grandma myra so that side of the family will know soon. we visited with nate lord for an hour and his GIRLFRIEND, karlee, yep you heard right. they have been dating for about three months and nate told me he wants to ask her to marry him in december. nikki don't tell anyone that tho who you live with cause i don't know if he wants anyone to know. we are going to pres faust viewing on tuesday which will be really neat. that is all the news i have. hope everyone is doing good and you spoiled four don't get too sunburned.

Okay family!!....Here is my news! I ended up getting in the 94 percentile on my state final for Chemistry(only one other person scored higher than me-darn it)!! So that means i got an A in both summer courses! wahoo!! In the e-mail my teacher sent me telling me my test scores he also added that he would be honored to write me a letter of reccomendation if i every needed one! Heck Yes!!!!How did he read my mind!? I bet mom's excited to hear that one! well anyway, just wanted to share my wonderful news with everyone cause frankly im ecstatic!!AWH! Two week summer here i come!

WHO THE HECK CALLED IT. i just wanted to post my first blog and send my two favorite pictures from the europe trip that amy and i had. Nikki... i had to immitate dad. member the cannon rear shot. i am sure dad's cannon would have launced a lot longer and yes.... i am wearing a fanny pack.....go on family, laugh it up....but when the mistro comes back with all his money and nothing stolen, then what non-fanny pack guy is laughing now!! the other picture is me trying a new way to help amy hurry up cause we were lagging behing. my idea didn't work very well as i broke amy's belt loop. anyways, we are coming to cedar august 11th and were excited to see everybody again. have a good fast.... i should have woke up later so i don't feel so hungry right now and it is only .... 8:45. love you guys

It's true I survived the brutal 3 day prison most people call the pioneer trek. I don't think I could have made it without my mom and dad by my side. And also one of my very good friends, Jodi! Who isn't 14. (who only got to stay for a couple hours since her parents were ahead of the activity apartment.)

Just this morning Meag and I went for a hike at 6:00 up around Duck Creek. We turned back about half way up the trail scaring ourselves with killer bear stories and decided to settle on feeding the not so nice Duckies! They must have been over fed becuase they could have cared less that we were there with a gourmet meal (wheat bread... yuk!) for them.
